Studies in the News:
Assistant Professor Roberta Espinoza
(Sociology) will offer Sociology/Chicana/o 434: "Chicanas and Latinas in
the
U.S." for the Fall 2008 Semester.
Though the use of documentaries and
literature written by Chicanas and Latinas,
students will explore the diverse
experiences of Chicanas and Latinas in the United States.

Assistant Professor Erualdo Gonzalez
has a new course under development "Barrios & Health."

For the class, students will participate in fieldwork using survey
methodologies to understand how
community members deal with health issues and to provide useful
assistance to the community.

Friday, April 25, 2008, at a Student Forum sponsored by the
Cal State Fullerton's
Alliance of Students for an
Equal Education, and endorsed by the Chicana & Chicano Studies
Department, the CSUF Office of Student Affairs, The Orange County Dream
Team, and CSUF Students for Peace and Social Justice, Department
Faculty, Assistant Professors Patricia Perez and Alexandro Jose
Gradilla, spoke on behalf of the
California Dream Act: Aid to Undocumented College Students.
