Assistant Professor Roberta Espinoza
(Sociology) will offer Sociology/Chicana/o Studies 434: "Chicanas and Latinas in
the
U.S." for the Fall 2008 Semester. Though the use of documentaries and
literature written by Chicanas and Latinas, students will explore the diverse
experiences of Chicanas and Latinas in the United States.

Assistant Professor Erualdo Gonzalez
Is offering a course in the History of the Chicano
(Chicana/o Studies 34 5)
which will focus
on the United States history from the 1820s to the present as it is
conditioned by the intersection of race, ethnicity, class, gender,
region, generational variation, politics, and economics with a special
emphasis on Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
