Music Books and Scores:
This library has a large collection of music
books and scores. Many of them can be checked out and are they found on
the 5th floor of the south wing of the Library.

Books and Scores can be found by searching the Library Catalog by title, subject, author or composer. Search for composers just as you would an author; press the author button and type in Last Name, First. |

When searching by subject in the Library Catalog, use Library of Congress Subject Headings. |

To search for the contents of a piece,
such as a piece of music within a recording, search by "keyword" in the
Library Catalog.

Current
CSUF student may request any books or articles they need that the library
does not own: 1. Link+ is the combined catalog over over 20 local university libraries. Books can be obtained in three to four working days. 2. Interlibrary Loan will locate books or articles and will take about one to two weeks 3. Your CSUF Titan Card can be used to check books out of all CSU libraries. |
