Sociology

Reference Sources
Reference Sources are books and electronic databases which are designed to be used to access information quickly, often small bits of information.  They can be a great time saver for students and researchers. Some of the types of information that can be accessed are definitions, facts, theories, statistics, formulas, citations, codes, addresses and other contact information.  The Reference books are kept on the first floor of Pollak Library, North Wing. They consist of dictionaries, encyclopedias, handbooks, almanacs, directories, and more.  There are an increasing number of Reference sources which are available in an online format, both databases of information or ebooks. A small selection of the recent Reference materials, both in print and in online format, which might be of interest to the Sociology student are listed below.
