The government collects valuable data for human services, on the state and federal level. The government is mandated to collect certain information, or possesses the unique resources to do it. There is almost no subject for which you cannot find government information. For example:
- Census of population: demographics
- Education statistics and program information
- Crime and victimization surveys
Government documents are on the 3rd Floor of Library North or increasingly on the Internet
