• Features:  Forecasts, current and historical data are available for U.S. economic indicators. The  CPI calculator let's the user compare the value of a dollar in any two years from 1913-present.

World Development Indicators

• Available on campus or through the portal
• Features:  The most comprehensive set of economic statistics available in any database.  Statistics go back to 1960.

Countrywatch

• Available on campus or through the portal
• Features:  Economic, political, and social profiles of just about every country.  Economic profiles include key current economic indicators and other statistics.

Encyclopedia Britanica: World Data Bank

• Available on campus or through the portal
• Features:  Economic, political, and social profiles of just about every country.  Economic profiles include key current economic indicators and other statistics.

CIA World Factbook

• Available as a free Internet site.
• Features:  Brief economic, political and social profiles of countries.  Key indicators, such as GDP and inflation, along with other economic statistics are provided.  Updated annually.

Europa World Year Book

• Current editions are available in the library behind the reference desk and in government documents and online.  Older editions are available at JN1 .E85 on the 5th Floor South.
• Features:  Profiles of countries around the world.  Many economic statistics, including key indicators, are provided.  Updated annually. 

Current Value of Old Money

• Available as a free Internet site.
• Features:  This British site provides links to calculators and other sites that compare historical economic indicators that measure cost of living, such as Inflation and consumer price index, in various countries.
