Books Books can provide a broad overview of a topic, as well as in-depth information. Books are often a good place to start your research as you will quickly develop background knowledge on your topic. Books often include a bibliography, or a list of books and articles the same topic. To find books on your topic in the CSUF Library, use the library catalog, which is the library's online catalog. Search this catalog by author, title, subject, or keywords. Materials in this library are given Library of Congress Subject Headings. and are shelved by call number according to the Library of Congress classification system.
