that the CHAPTER for AB 939 is 1095.
- In left frame, to the right of
STATUTES, again click on dropdown arrow.
- Click on 1989.
- On right side of screen, under
CHAPTER #'S, click on CHAPTERS 608-1137.
- In FIND box, type: CHAPTER 1095.
There is a dropdown arrow to the right of the FIND
box -- select FIND NEXT IN CURRENT PDF.
- It will scroll down to page 3810,

and shelved following the bound volumes. Note: Starting with a bill number, you can find the chapter
number by going to the CROSS REFERENCE TABLE in the center of
the last volume for a specific year. After the black-bordered pages, a
list of AB and SB numbers appears. This gives a Chapter number for each
bill number. Chapters
are in numerical order starting with Volume 1 for that year and
continuing through Volume 3 or 4. Example: AB 939 (1989) is Chapter
1095, which appears in 1989 Volume 2 on page 3810. The Chapter number,
1095, appears in the upper left or right corner. Note:
You can also use the chapter number to find the bill number by
looking in the Summary Digest. The Summary Digest
appears in Statutes and Amendments to the Code in a
section following the codes. The Summary Digest, beginning
