Journals - Portuguese

CSUF Pollak Library does not currently subscribe to many Portuguese language print journals. Full-text articles from Portuguese journals are available in Factiva, where users can choose Portuguese as a language, and in Arts & Humanities Search, Humanities Abstracts, MLA Bibliography,  and JSTOR, by using Portuguese search terms.

When using databases where the search interfaces are in English, remember to use the English word “and” to connect Portuguese words when composing your search string.

Following are the titles of journals in Pollak Library that carry material helpful for Portuguese studies. Depending on dates, these periodicals are kept in three areas: current issues are kept in the periodicals section on the 2nd floor, North Wing of the library; print copies of older issues are located in the compact stacks in the basement of the North Wing, and issues on microfilm are located in the periodicals section. Be sure to check the library catalog for available issues and locations.
