This guide is designed to help you conduct linguistics research in the Pollak Library.

As you begin your research, ask yourself the following questions:

bulletWhat is your specific topic?
bulletWhat are your keywords or phrases?
bulletWhat types of materials are needed? Books? Reference materials? Journal or magazine articles? How many?
bulletDo you need current information? Historical information? both?
bulletWhich style manual is required?
MLA, LSA, AAA
